2016年9月5日、BTSの所属事務所 BigHitエンターテインメントから2枚目のフルアルバム「WINGS」のショートフィルムとして、ジミンの自身初となるソロ曲「Lie」がリリースされた。
ジミンの甘美なボーカルが最大限に活かされ、力強くも美しく繊細なライブパフォーマンスを披露する「Lie」は、ファンの間では名曲ともよばれる人気曲だ。
そんな「Lie」が5日、リリースされてから4周年を迎えた。すると、ファンは長い月日を経ても色あせない名曲として、楽曲リリース記念日を祝福。ツイッターのトレンドにハッシュタグ「#4YearsWithLie」がランクインするなど、大きな盛り上がりをみせた。
